Uniquely Made?

Why yes, I am…how about you? Actually we all are. Psalm 139:14 says, “I will praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are your works and my soul knows very well.”. God made us all unique. So if I’m unique and I know I am then that means all of my students are uniquely made.Yes!! This is something I’ve been dealing with a lot this school year. Each one of my students is so unique in their own little way and I have to adapt to this in my classroom daily. But I have found that when I give them the one on one attention that they need, they respect me more, because they know that I love them and they know that they care. My challenge to you fellow teachers is to recognize the uniqueness, the individuality, in each one of your students and give in! Do whatever you need to to be able to reach each one of your students and watch the difference it makes.  I have these boys in my class who are just beyond cool, I mean these boys know whats up….lol!! One thing we do is instead of saying bye we say peace or deuces. Now, let me tell you I am not that person but it makes them know that I know what they like and I’m willing to respond to them in that way. Guess what….they know I care! So go...be ridiculous…and show them that you care!!
